In the afternoon of November 29, 2017 of local time, the power generating ceremony of the first set generator of Qasim coal-fired power station was held ceremoniously at Qasim Port, Pakistan. Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Yao Jing, Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Yan Zhiyong, Chairman of Power Construction Corporation of China, Mr. Jassem, Chairman of Qatar AMC Corporation and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony. Mr. Cai Zhongtang, Chairman of Rizhao Port Group was invited to attend the ceremony.

Qasim Coal-fired Power Station project is in the first batch of priority implementation projects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and also the first landing energy project. It is jointly invested by Power Construction Corporation of China and AMC Corporation. On March 22, 2017, Rizhao Port Group formally signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with Power China Harbor Co., Ltd. and the "Consortium Agreement" for the operation and maintenance of the wharf project in Qasim Port. Rizhao Port Fuhua International Terminal Management Co., Ltd. was authorized to specifically organize and implement for the wharf operation and maintenance of Pakistan Qassim port jointly with Power China Harbor Co., Ltd. Fuhua International give full play to advantages of the rich experience of terminal management and responsible for production management, equipment operation and maintenance work etc.

From April of 2017, Fuhua International has successively sent 46 staff to the project site. The employees to carry forward the spirit of selfless dedication, they had overcome the harsh production conditions, living conditions and other unfavorable factors, to cooperate fully with the partner, owners and EPC contractors, give full play to the professional advantages of terminal operations management, Port technical personnel and others, has completed the organizational structure, system construction, personnel training, dock inspection, operation and maintenance preparations. Up to now, 8 vessels with a total of about 420,000 tons of coal have been unloaded.
